Today I got into the elevator after an appointment. The door almost shut on a woman who ran to get in last minute so I reached out and opened it. She said thank you and as soon as she spoke I recognized her as someone I worked with 15+ years ago in another state. What are the odds?

Why the fuck is this framed as “teenager chose to prostitute herself and ruined the career of innocent congressman”
A teenager in Florida with a homeless parent wanted money for braces and ended up having sex for money with powerful men, setting off a chain of events that would have a dramatic impact on her life and help upend the political career of Representative Matt Gaetz. nyti.ms/49PSkL9

I woke up yesterday with pink eye. It’s now migrated to the other eye. So gross and painful!

I have a dinner at Tao in the city this weekend. What should I wear? I am so not trendy.

I just had a facial and she shaped my eyebrows and removed all my nose hair. So bizarre right?

I just bought a new iron and have two comments. 1. I feel like an adult & 2. Wow, it really makes a difference. For reference, I’m replacing one that’s 15+ years old that I bought solely because it was pink.

We’re going to four days a week in office 😕

Someone hacked my Venmo account and ordered $10 worth of DoorDash. I reported it and my claim was denied because they found it “consistent with my normal activity”. I’ll absorb a $10 loss but Venmo is linked to my checking account. 😡

Not to brag but it’s not even 8:30 and I’ve already been told my one of my Gen Z coworkers that I’m a real one 😅

We have wellness rooms in our office that you can book if you need a break or a lot of women will use them to pump. They’re small, windowless rooms with recliners. The other day an intern booked one for a meeting and I can’t stop laughing. 😅

If my stylist has an assistant helping her, do I tip them separately or does the stylist tip her out?

Do you all remember a few years ago when I posted about a FB acquaintance who gave weekly updates about her daughter and we all agreed they should stop after a year? Not the posts but counting how many weeks old your child is. Anyway, today she is 272 weeks old. 🙃

I ❤️ the security in our building. This is the pic from my door dash delivery confirmation. They do not miss anything.

If the Democrats don’t make an absolute buffet out of this group chat national security scandal, primary each and every one of them. It’s literally on a silver platter.

I finally had my first Wegmans experience. 😍 I will now be going out of my way to shop there.

I’m leaving for a conference tomorrow. I ordered some clothes from Tuckernuck a week ago that won’t arrive in time so now I need to go shopping. Where are we getting business casual clothes these days? I went to Ann Taylor a few weeks ago and everything was cropped.

My mom gets shots for macular degeneration. Because of Trump’s disastrous cuts to Medicare, she was told this morning they are no longer subsidized and she would have to pay several thousand $ out of pocket. She did but watched multiple people leave because they couldn’t afford it.

I went for a physical the other day and my doctor recommended a titer test for MMR. I mentioned this to my mom, who then sent me my immunization records going back to birth. Moms are the best. 🥰

One of the most exceptional parts of this story that’s not pointed out in many of these articles is that the response was almost entirely volunteers. Manchester and the surrounding towns do not have paid fire departments.

This makes me want to brave Costco on a Saturday.
Costco, which has come out saying it supports DEI, will make no changes to its existing programs, AND pays workers a minimum of $30/hour, is up 15% YTD.

Target, which announced it is ending all DEI programs and has a minimum wage of $15-$24/hour, is down over 4%.

Keep voting with your wallet.

Did anyone catch TIBAL’s q&a about how much she spends on certain things? I think I vastly underestimated how much she’s bringing in in affiliate revenue.

Someone I work with just left to work from home because his baby has diarrhea. I think I’m the only one who knows his baby is a 5 pound teacup yorkie. 🥰😂
