Japan Meteorological Agency says a tsunami of 50 centimeters was detected at the Ishinomaki port, the highest detected so far with 16 other locations reporting a tsunami as high as 40 cm as the waves moved south along the Pacific coast.

It finds that the clean energy tax credits are overwhelmingly popular among Americans in general, including Republican voters.
