The reason why "The Butler Did It" became a cliche is because the staff in these aristocratic houses aren't seen as fully human, so you can have a half dozen suspects and then reveal at the end essentially "a couch did it" thus shocking the audience

No it's because I lack an emotional vocabulary beyond competition and economic value from performing masculinity, so by demonstrating my ability to "provide" exactly what is desired better than everyone else, I can win at gift giving, which is normal to want and possible to achieve. You have issues.

The state shouldn't bail out rural hospitals. It should seize them from the profit ghouls bleeding them dry because if your goal is improving the lives of the public, there's basically no better way to spend money dollar for dollar. The profit motive is literally killing people.
