Sabaton's been part of my on/off again rotation of zone out and get into art zone bg music and just, the Ai is just so... disappointing. I don't think I'll ever understand artists being okay using it for art forms outside their main focus
Ah well, more air time for my other go-tos now

Something that's helped me I've swiped from The Artist's Way. The author talks about an artist date which I've repurposed into "spoil inner child time." Just giving myself a couple hours to "be a kid" has seriously helped kick start some creative juices for me

I can't think of an artist who doesn't go through "I don't wanna" periods. It's just the nature of the beast even if it gets hidden by social media.

I can't think of an artist who doesn't go through "I don't wanna" periods. It's just the nature of the beast even if it gets hidden by social media.

Actively working on it took about 8-9 hours?
Coupled with giving myself a wide window of a couple weeks to get it done so giving me chances to sit and think about what I'd like to do/change/play with/have a day job LOL

and omg fr. He gave me the option of not doing them, to do a closer mid-body shot but I figured it'd look better showing more of them PLUS easy challenge of getting out of my comfort zone. We'll never grow if we don't push those boundaries 💪😤

My client's character is the woman and the child is a friend's of his so I wanted to show both of them since it was for him but also for his friend AND factoring what their centaur bodies would allow them to do. It was a fun puzzle
