Are we sure Michael Gira isn't one? 🤔

In-progress mockup of the floor piece. Some of these tubes need to be trimmed down, but I like the distribution of colors and sizes.

Skipping ahead several steps which I did not photograph. It's getting closer to being finished...

The theme for today's #BlueskyArtShow is #small so here's some tiny Vermeer themed guerilla art I've left around the Netherlands.

Rembrandt's self-insert character is the only figure to stare out and implicate/include the viewer in this vignette. So I painted my own self-insert character who stares at Rembrandt's self-insert character staring at the audience.

Found the worst shoes ever in a Haarlem thrift store. They fit. I did not take pics and I did not buy them. :P

Installed in a crack in the Delft city center.

Working on some ✨fancy✨ guerilla art.

Still no luck. It's kinda similar to Endicott and kinda similar to Havant, but I don't think the box depicts either unless they took MAJOR liberties with the design.

I need nerd help -- I thrifted this odd little ceramic box in the Netherlands. Which IBM building is this???

Why paint The Storm On The Sea Of Galilee on poster tubes? This Rembrandt, stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in 1990, was cut from its stretcher & rolled up by the thieves. If it still exists, it's probably sitting in a tube just like these, hidden away in someone's attic or basement.

I was raised by atheists and can probably count the church services I've attended on two hands. But here I am, painting Christian religious art.

Working my way through all fourteen figures in Rembrandt's The Storm On The Sea of Galilee -- a painting/installation on poster tubes, about the theft and fate of this infamous art piece.

Happy ghostly birthday to Johannes Vermeer, who was born on this day in 1632. You would have loved buying pearls on AliExpress.

Ik vind het vervelend hoeveel stemmen FVD en JA21 hebben gekregen, maar mijn dorp heeft het goed gedaan.

Post a perfect album from the 90’s that isn’t Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden or Alice In Chains.

Back on my Rembrandt bullshit.
