It's reintroduction time! I'm a multidisciplinary artist who makes art about memory, place, & craft. In 2022 I moved from Oakland, CA to small village in the Netherlands. To restart/recenter my career, I'm putting myself through a "conceptual apprenticeship" with the greats of Dutch & Flemish art.

I paint tiny seed bombs based on objects/memories associated with those we've lost to memory disorders. Want me to include your loved one? Just give me a small, handheld item that you always associate with them and I'll paint it. 2/2

I'm not sure if I can claim to be a refugee since I moved for a partner? But I definitely feel like an immigrant exiled from home so perhaps it's personally applicable after all. :(
