It isn't radical to want others to survive. All we have is each other. Act that way. #antiwar #feminist #humanist
Let’s see how this ages:

I predict Marjorie Taylor Greene will be our first female President.

She will run as anti-establishment, anti-Trump, and conservative. She’s also setting herself up to break Democratic coalitions on foreign policy and women’s issues.

But God I hope I’m wrong.

The GOP will literally starve you and build a ballroom instead of going to therapy.

ICYMI there’s research from the peacebuilding space that shows that men who believe in gender equality are less likely to use violence for conflict resolution, including in foreign policy.

DONT ELECT RAPISTS AND EXPECT ANTI-WAR POLICIES. ITS ALL ABOUT VIOLENCE.

ty for coming to my TedTalk.

Let’s start a conspiracy: do you think Trump is targeting Tylenol because their parent company, Johnson and Johnson, rejected a deal with Trump Rx?

Unlike, say, Pfizer?

Trump’s decision to bomb Iran risks escalating an already volatile situation into all-out regional conflict. It’s time for Congress to step in and exercise their constitutional authority over war and peace by passing legislation that prohibits Trump from dragging us further into war.

The takeaway: Trump is not an aberration. His hate-filled reign was made possible by a party that governs with, and normalizes, bigotry.
BREAKING @prri.org poll.
My disturbing take: It’s virtually impossible to write a survey question about the treatment of immigrants that is too brutal for Republicans to support.
1) 8 in 10 Republicans support renditions of immigrants to foreign prisons without due process.

I know Democrats are an unserious opposition party because — even now — they will not call to abolish ICE.

Instead, 75 Democrats voted with Republicans to THANK them.

Let’s be clear: supporting ICE undermines safety. No one benefits from unchecked state violence.

And also, killing civilians is wrong, regardless of how it impacts US operations.

Yemenis deserve to live too.
Getting rid of safeguards designed to limit civilian harm from U.S. military operations & ensure compliance with international humanitarian law undermines our credibility, jeopardizes our missions & raises the risk of natl security threats.
Senators challenge Hegseth on civilian deaths in Yemen strikes
Democrats have demanded that the Trump administration account for rising loss of life from its intensified campaign against Iran-backed militants.

Is it just me, or is it wild how quickly men in a coalition close ranks to exclude women who disagree with them?

Has that happened to you? LMK.

Literally everyone I know and don’t know deserves better treatment than what Kilmar & Rumeysa are being subjected to.

It isn’t about “they can do it to you too” - it’s that this shouldn’t be how we treat each other ever.

Well, my flight out of DCA had to do an emergency landing in Dulles.

And now I have to explain to @unitedairlinesual.bsky.social that I want a refund & was told it was “partially used.”

what?

I took the METRO home. That wasn’t a trip used, it was a trip wasted because of an emergency landing.

We need DEI because technology was NOT created for all of us.

I am a woman on my period. My PAD set off the full-body scan at #DCA airport. I had to get a groin pat down in public.

I have six hours of flights w/ a short layover. A tampon is not an option.

I am a SA survivor. And that sucked

Care is only ‘radical’ if you believe that exploitation is inevitable, and you aspire to be an exploiter and not exploited.

But that zero-sum is wrong because intertwined systems of capitalism, racism & militarism exploit our labor & our most basic needs for education, housing, healthcare.

Asking for living in the current circumstances.

Bombing Yemen is the bigger problem.

It really sucks that there’s more concern over what platform folks used to decide to take people’s lives than there is over… the decision to take people’s lives.

What if the signal chat leak was intentional to create a public demand to release the transcript, which would create a pathway to getting any signal chat transcripts?

What if this is another attack on dissent?
Trump admin coordinated the Houthi strike via Signal chat, which of course leaked
