This is what it looked like before - it was pretty, but a bit chunky for me and I hadn't worn it more than a couple of times

She's set the ruby very simply, and used the gold from the original pendant to make the three beaded rings - which are separate from each other, so the ruby can be worn on its own too. It's hung on a short triple strand of haematite beads.

My brilliant cousin Alice has been working on making a necklace for me, and it's just arrived. I bought the cabochon ruby in India years ago - it's pretty but not valuable - and it was made into a pendant that I never wore, so I asked Alice to remake it for me, and this is the result, and I love it!

oh, Green Park is easy: ignore the signs, go up the escalators as if you're leaving the station. All the escalators meet at the top, so you can then go straight down to the Vic or Picc line platforms. No need to yomp down the long corridor

(nerd post) Put a couple of Unifi G4 Instant cameras outside yesterday, and they're having their IPX5 rating pretty comprehensively tested by Storm Goretti today 😬
