Same and I think it’s because it’s not only incredibly misogynistic and mean, it’s also so deeply embarrassing and horrifying that the person who is the president of the United States is a cruel child
I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.

But LCD Soundsystem is currently running off w/ the @marchxness.bsky.social ball, & that's how I voted too. "Friends" is a Big Song for many of us, & @katecarmody8.bsky.social is up to the task—tricky b/c Murphy's music is often already commenting on itself. ("Essayistic," Kate says. )
(When Scott talks about his "headspace murk of old Dylan lyrics, Bill Frisell riffs, and the marching band from 'Tusk,'" suffice to say I felt that.)
Not being a big dance music guy, I was surprised to find two songs I actually like in a 1st-round @marchxness.bsky.social match—& pleased to learn that Scott's assessment of "Days" in his smart & funny essay is essentially identical to my own.
