Trump's approval ratings are tanking.

He's flailing on the economy.

He backtracked on the Epstein files and lost control of the GOP.

His plot to steal the 2026 midterms is faltering.

Do not let him gaslight you into believing he is all powerful.

Today the President of the United States called for the killing of his political opponents. People need to understand how serious that is.

This is not normal. This cannot be something only Democrats condemn. Every leader and American must condemn this.

Trump claims his ICE raids are going after the "worst of the worst".

But his own DOJ admits that over 97% of immigrants detained in Chicago have no criminal record.

It was always about cruelty, not public safety.

Federal agents are acting with impunity at the Broadview ICE facility — packing people into holding cells without beds, forcing them to sign away their legal rights, and denying access to food, medical care, and lawyers.

The ACLU of Illinois will see ICE in court.
'Inhumane' conditions at Chicago-area ICE facility, advocates allege in new lawsuit
Attorneys with the ACLU of Illinois and the MacArthur Justice Center say U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have denied people being held at the Broadview facility private calls with attorneys and have blocked members of Congress, faith leaders and journalists from entering the building, creating a “black box” they say has allowed authorities to act “with impunity.”

People across the country are wondering if or when they’ll get their SNAP benefits.

No one in the richest country in the world should have to worry about feeding their families, especially hardworking people who have been priced out of living by greedy corporations.

Today is the 36th day of the Republican shutdown — making it the longest government shutdown in our country’s history.

Republicans need to come back to DC and get to work for the American people. It’s long overdue.

Beshear: Let me be clear. The president has both the funding and the authority to fund snap during a shutdown. In fact, every other president in every other shutdown has done so. People going hungry in this instance is a choice that this president has made.

This is the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever fucking seen. OUR NATIONAL GOVERNMENT WEBSITE.
Looking at this page on the White House website, it’s impossible to ignore how utterly juvenile the Trump administration is, it’s being run by children.

Trump's USDA is ordering grocery stores to follow a federal rule outlawing them from giving discounts to SNAP recipients whose benefits are currently frozen illegally.

So Trump's happy to finally follow the law as long as long as he can inflict pain and cruelty? Got it.

Most shutdowns end because two sides who initially were unable to come to an agreement during negotiations finally compromised when the pain points hit and things got worked out.

But in this one, Trump ordered Republicans not to negotiate at all. That makes it hard to resolve.

The wealth of the 10 richest Americans has soared by $700 billion since Trump was reelected.

Meanwhile, millions of Americans are going hungry because Trump is illegally withholding contingency funds that would keep food stamps funded during his shutdown.

Let us jack up millions of people's health care costs or we'll starve the poor.
