Easy way to explain it
Cave allegory with the flame labeled corpus of existing text/images, the guy holding the puppet labeled data taggers, moderators, guys straight up pretending to be a chat bot etc, the puppet labeled statistical model of what elements most likely appear togetehr in comprehensible image/text and the guy on the other side of the wall labeled academics who should know better saying wow cool cognition

anyways fuck vagueposting, caffichai has been generating ai images and poorly tracing over them since 2023. here is proof. (attaches three images with no further elaboration) I'm all for warning about AI users but I do feel like we need to be more responsible when pointing the finger. That's just one very zoomed in screenshot of one drawing? In no way do this prove anything and honestly "no artist would draw a jar like this"? not all artists are jar specialists? Like, i'm not trying to say they're not an ai artist, i want evidence tho. Oh nahhhh if you can't see the stink of Al on these (very commonly occuring mistakes within Al-generated images), then you need to do your own research. I'm not gonna do any more of it for you, sorry. So no proof. "you have to believe me i know for a fact that i am right we need to throw stones at them" but no proof. Again, I'm not saying you're wrong, but i can't say you're right when you attack someone like this so suddenly and refuse to prove your point.. And a lot of the posts in this thread are reaching so far they'd break their arms. That spoon and a slightly curved jar are the most compelling evidence and the compression is so horrid on the spoon…Sorry. I'm all for shaming anyone who uses Al In fact, an artist Pitslip on here recently admitted to using Al, got no problem shaming them and muting their profile. But I need more then this. That's fine if your standard of evidence is higher than this. Leave them unblocked, keep interacting with the content. But for those who see the indications, they are free to block and report them based on their own view of these indicators. It's not really an issue of pizza topping preference though, we're talking someones livelihood and the best I'm seeing is an image so compressed there's actual tearing in it and a bunch of "Tells" that I've seen in professional animation.
