In this Consensus Statement, a consortium of microbiome scientists discuss current sequencing data sharing policies and propose the use of a Data Reuse Information (DRI) tag to promote equitable and collaborative data sharing.

Exciting days! My husband and I both defended @gevol.bsky.social phase 2 proposals - and I am so relieved and grateful that Uni Münster offers such a flexible and amazing childcare. This is really an enabling factor for dual career couples.

Determining presence-absence variation (PAV) across reference genomes is a major goal of pangenome analysis. It turns out that A LOT of gene PAV is due to methodological artifacts.

Our brave puppy. 13 years old. Survived many tumors & surgeries to remove them. Hiked quite far 2 weeks ago. Days seem limited and today is another very good day.

I taught more courses than expected, this semester. One was very special to me. My students felt similarly and 3D printed this adorable duck for me. It’s so cute! And the chocolate so sweet! I much appreciate it.

Diese Fragen sind nur viele Beispiele für eine weitgehend ungeklärte Situation. Schon deshalb ist die Vernetzung von PDs wichtig: Wir müssen uns über unsere Rechte austauschen. Die je nach Uni und Bundesland ganz unterschiedlich sind & unterschiedlich ausgelegt werden. #PDprekär

Wie sieht das versicherungstechnisch aus? Ihr arbeitet umsonst fuer die Uni? Was ist, wenn einem von Euch etwas auf dem Arbeitsweg, in der Uni passiert? Sichert Euch die Uni ab?
