The House of Lords should have been abolished generations ago.

It shouldn't have a place in today's society. The Green Party is very clear on this.

While we're sending people to the lords, they should not be afraid to be disruptive to achieve our goals.

Green Party Conference recently passed some amazing healthcare policy for the trans community. It commits us to an informed consent model of trans healthcare, a trans-led public inquiry into NHS care, a trans-inclusive ban on conversion therapy, and so much more.

The Green Party just voted to reform trans healthcare.

What does this bold new policy look like?

What we're calling for:
- The end of segregation in trans healthcare.
- Ending the torture of conversion therapy.
- Moving the NHS to an informed consent model.
- Expanding the range of funded transition care.
- Access to affirming healthcare for trans youth.
- NHS support for people who seld-medicate or use private care.
- Real support for detransitioning people.

How we get there:
- Closing the existing Gender Identity Clinics and supporting GPs with training and funding to care for trans people.
- Lifting the politically motivated ban on 'puberty blockers'.

- Including & prioritising trans expertise in independent care reviews.
- Passing a trans-inclusive ban on 'conversion therapy'.

We don't need any more of us dying due to this wait for gatekeeping services.

GICs where a comprise for cis people to feel more comfortable with trans healthcare.

That comprise has been broken with these genocidal wait times, so we have to demand an end to segregation.

We have heard that the Green Party has passed a motion at conference calling for desegregation of trans healthcare and to end the practice of GICs and to move it to primary care.

🚫 GWD, the anti-trans lobby group led by four disgraced expelled members, has been denied a platform at Autumn Conference

They tried to strong-arm the party with legal threats in order to spread their transphobic agenda

But the party stood firm

To be clear: GWD is a transphobic lobbying outfit, fronted by expelled ex-members with a history of breaching party values and code of conduct

Green Women's Declaration had their stall at the upcoming Green Party conference withdrawn by the party.

I'm glad the party has listened to concerns over safety from cis women and trans members.

So there won't be any platform for organisations that are opposed to human rights at our conference.

I and dozens of others were out yesterday helping Zoe with the poling day operations in Woodhouse Park.

We only get these results by volunteers being on the ground getting people out to vote Green and donations fueling campaigns.

I've gotten councills to install a number of dropped curbs around the country.

Whenever I have to make an awkward manoeuvre in my chair to get past streets without them, I report it.

I don't think the government surveilling my every movement is a required step in that process.

I agree, I'm not the thought police, people can believe what they like.

Just when people campaign for antithetical policies to our values or the way they behave creates an unsafe environment, then we need to draw a line.

Green Women Declaration is run by former members. Most were expelled for campaigning against the party in the last general election.

They are:
Against trans people being able to use "single sex" spaces.
For misgendering trans people.
And against affirming young trans people socially or medically.

It must not allow organisations to bully us into having stalls at conference that are against our aims and makes people feel unsafe.

Reform is taking one of our Green Party councillors in Worcester to court because the Reform candidate lost the election.
