I am alarmed and upset by this emerging news of attacks at a synagogue on Yom Kippur.

The rise in religious hate crimes in this country is totally unacceptable - there is no excuse for antisemitism and no excuse for violence.

I'll always defend politicians who just happen to be trans, regardless of their political colours or affiliation, when they are attacked by the media. An attack on one is an attack on all. The hate directed at @chrisn.xyz by the media is disgusting.

Whether they're blaming vaccines and Tylenol, or selling dubious "remedies," what they're really doing is promoting the perception that families (and especially mothers) can prevent and treat Autism. And thus also the perception that people with Autism and their families don't need social support.

A statement from Melissa: I can't wait to get started as a Co-Chair of the North East Young Greens! It's upsetting to see that the regional Young Greens has been inactive by in large for the last couple years, so I hope to use the limited time that I have within the Young Greens to really kick the regional Young Greens into life, and try and get young people in the region excited to be part of the committee next year. I am hoping to use some of the experience I have in my local party of Gateshead and nationally with committees in the senior party to help in this endeavour. The Green Party has taken great strides in being a liberatory space for trans people.

It must not allow organisations to bully us into having stalls at conference that are against our aims and makes people feel unsafe.

Today @fra.europa.eu released the report ‘Being Intersex in the EU’, highlighting the barriers intersex people continue to face in everyday life. While there is a long way to go to ensuring the full human rights of intersex people, this is an important step in the right direction!

The UN has confirmed what we already knew: Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians.

As a trans woman in Britain, I have seen how the rhetoric Kirk spread in the US fuels the same hatred here.

When voices like his call for violence against us, it doesn't just stay across the Atlantic. It empowers the same far-right culture putting people like me in danger every day.

Political violence is abhorrent. But let's not kid ourselves: Charlie Kirk and people like him have glorified political violence for years.

His family have lost someone they love. But he was taken by the same hateful politics he pushed onto others. It's no tragedy - it's a red flag.
