Information about the special issue: I am the guest editor of a special issue for Behavioral Sciences on the topic of Education for Autistic Children and Young People. I warmly invite you to consider submitting an abstract for this special issue, the aim of which is to bring together the most recent ideas and research in the autism and education field. In this special issue, we are particularly interested in strengths-informed approaches to autism and education, situated within a neurodiversity paradigm, underpinned by high quality research. The age range is approximately at 3 – 25 years. Submissions focusing on secondary/high school education and alternative settings are particularly welcome, as are studies drawn from low and middle income countries. 
Abstract submission deadline: 30 September 2025
Manuscript deadline: 16 April 2025

Just finished this - it's a lovely wee book -full of the joy of play! The shapes (or types) of autistic play described really got me reflecting on play I've been a part of, and captured it so well. Plus lots of ideas for supporting play.
