? What happened to your good working relationship with ICE? You were best friends just months ago?

The pancakes/waffle meme has unfortunately been appropriated by people who don't understand how basic communication works

Yes, in propositional logic, if I say "A, and therefore B" this doesn't imply that if A were not true, B would not be true. In English, it, however, does generally imply this

Everyone predicted this????? "This is a covid level increase in crime that will reduce" was an extremely common take. These guys ignored it because they wanted to crime panic

Pro vaccine conspiracism is so cool

The way PR makes people effectively lie is so funny. It is obviously impossible to have both of these opinions "Such actions do not align with Austin Peay's commitment to mutual respect and human dignity" and " I deeply regret and apologize for the impact this has had... on our campus community"

Yeah that's consistent with Jeffries backpedaling to be more oppositional once it became clear this wasn't the kind of regime change he was looking for

Every Christian response to the problem of evil except the one in Job (god is so massively bigger than you that you might as well treat him as a force of nature) is the least compelling argument imaginable to the point that I feel like the people saying it don't even believe it

This poll clearly either had a bad sample or got a lot of people trolling them. If you want to take it seriously you should also take seriously that 25% of Republicans think Italians have dual loyalty

Look I get that all hobbies seem weird to outsiders but like these people know you can get into other hobbies that don't involve increasing your risk of death right

This would be a much more compelling argument if people did, in fact, know themselves. Which they don't! Intuition is fake, nobody is immune from having some mental health issues occasionally

Would change my pfp to (a crop of) this but I think with the displayname people might uh make some assumptions about my politics

I genuinely find this argument baffling. All these resource extraction industries have basically been automated, I do not see why the remaining rural folks should get credit for owning the land containing resources

Miami has substantially worse weather than Los Angeles, it's genuinely crazy how people act like they're in the same tier

Also peep that sun statistic, "sunshine state" is a marketing scam
December 28, 2025 at 2:04 AM
The actual underlying study says that if all you have is one word, the tone communicates more than the word. Which is uh not applicable to basically any real world communication

Like most people who are secretly trans (we generally call them eggs) are not having their "role in the gender caste system" disrupted; obviously these folks are usually also not on HRT, but that's irrelevant. Nobody treats you as trans until you come out

The guy taking E to become forever young was also like, putting his hair up in a somewhat fem bun and dressing in vaguely fem ways; people were reacting to his overall vibe and then learning that he was on E, not the other way around lol

"this campaign strategy is not a meaningful replacement for the welfare state" is one of those things that's simultaneously true while I think somewhat missing the point of what campaign strategies are intending to accomplish
