Both my husband and my younger son got shingles in their mid-30s. As an outside observer I can say, it's not something anyone wants.

My husband treated it with oatmeal baths & alcohol. By the time my son got it, there were antivirals, which worked better. Avoidance through vaccination is best.

So you think Republicans are earnest ideologues whose behavior is logical & consistent, and driven by their concept of what's best for the country, even though it hurts ordinary people? Not random & floundering, clinging to power by their fingernails?

I used to be able to go to my local newsagent or bookstore & buy a single issue of a newspaper or magazine with article(s) I wanted to read. Now I have to buy a yearly subscription. I'd be much more willing to buy 1 issue than a year's subscription.

Do not be tempted into believing you're not a legal expect so what do you know. The 14th Amendment was written in plain English so everyone can understand it. If you're born on US soil, you're a citizen. That's it.

That guy (not you jimminyyy) was kind of a dick. He was really set on seeing Republicans as earnest ideologues instead of the petty, venal, power grubbers they are.

He cursed me out & blocked me before I could block him (I'm sure it's a 'him').

Of course they are fragile & beatable. They are also venal & corrupt, and very very stupid. That's why they try silly tricks to win, instead of trying to appeal to voters with actual popular positions.

1. Living at home into your 30s isn't uncommon in the DC metro area; it's incredibly expensive to live here.
2. The guy supposedly has some developmental disabilities - a family member said he's 30 with the mind of a 16 yo - that may impact his earning capability.
