Small hours, pitch dark, running a raging fever, naked except for gumboots in a muddy stockyard with a storm coming in

Lightning flashed and I realised the gate between pens was open and he was right behind me

It is super annoying to acknowledge, OK as a species we've had basically instantaneous access to all documented human knowledge for 20 years now and yet our collective decision-making sucks ass.
