I'm always up for questions - I love sharing the craft!! I've found the chainmail community to be extremely sharing, and I'll do all I can to keep it that way.
Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.
I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

A little look at the work I put into making a bracelet.
I love making chainmille, but it takes time and precision to make each piece. I use a magnifying glass with a light and run my fingers over every closure to make sure it is 100% flush. Can't have it snag on anything!

Stop using AI for placeholder assets.
Use sketches. Use lorem ipsum. Use bright pink materials. Use programmer art for fucks sake, literally anything else.
If your studio is using AI even for temp, even if they think they've covered their tracks, SPEAK UP because people WILL FIND IT

Taking a stab at a low poly version of my sona in Blender and finished the base sculpt last night. Gonna try texturing and rigging this sucker for animation and we'll see what happens since it's my first attempt. ☺️
