Also cheaper! We saved 33% of energy costs by installing a heat pump and now our solar panels are reducing costs even further!

I just started a new job and I don't want to give any details, but my new colleagues are SO nice, so sweet, so friendly! We spend a lot of time at work, it's nice to spend time with people you like. ❤️I'm feeling optimistic.

Zohran Mamdani's riding the M57 through Manhattan to highlight it's the NYC's slowest bus route.

He says he'd as mayor commute by all modes of public transit as well as bike (Mayor Adams notably also mentioned the bike part before he took office, a vow he rarely made good on).

Oh man ... I *love* this guy. He just has a way of talking about day-to-day issues with ordinary people. 😍

I wonder how much support a party would get if they promised to make rich people face consequences for wrong-doing? How much of ordinary people’s frustration and anger stems from the obvious double-standards at play in today’s world?

Evidence-based decision-making! Such a concept - why is it difficult? Speed cameras reduce speeding, thus saving lives. Win-win.

Bluntly, if it's so important for society, then maybe we need to enact policies that make it more appealing. A lot of countries (Canada and the US are good examples) are so anti-child that they seem to be deliberately discouraging people from having children.

Organizers in New Mexico spent a decade electing lawmakers who would put the question of universal child care funded by oil and gas royalties on the ballot and in late 2022, voters were allowed to decide on the matter directly. They voted overwhelmingly to approve it.
