As the Democratic leader in the Texas state House, Gene Wu has been the subject of plenty of criticisms and insults – including accusations lobbed by his Republican colleagues that he’s a communist. Wu tells Ali Velshi that the casual racism that he’s experienced throughout his career is now “spilling out in the open” because of Donald Trump. Democratic Texas State Rep.
