Hmm, I think it might be a ribbed pattern- using alternate knit and purl stitches to create the zigzag. I wish we had a round up of the patterns of what the knitters are wearing each week.

I must have been lucky in my choices but I seem to have found a lovely corner of YouTube full of all types of crafters who are also decidedly anti-fash and definitely pro diversity of all types.
