What’s the reasoning? Who gave the ok? What rights are we extending to artists of the past?

And how the hell are we going to preserve her actual words, spoken BY HER when she was ACTUALLY ALIVE, when AI quotes are about flood the internet?

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

As a maker, I feel sad when I see things like this knowing that right to repair was one of the key issues of a movement that I feel has sadly abandoned itself over the years. The need for and enforcement of a right to repair law needs to come back into the public eye!
It’s honestly shocking to me that right to repair hasn’t been made a bigger issue. It’s truly bipartisan and the only people who “support” it are the politicians getting paid by corporations. This is worse than enshittification or planned obsolescence, this is selling a faulty product.
Right to repair is a matter of life and death.
