BEEF STROGANOFF Ingredients: • 2 tbsp olive oil, halved • 3 ¾ tbsp unsalted butter • 1 large onion, chopped • 5-6 cloves of garlic, minced • 4 cups thinly sliced portobello mushrooms • 3 lb beef tenderloin or round steak • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream • 1 tsp red pepper flakes • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce • ½ tsp paprika • Salt to taste • Pepper to taste • 1 lb egg noodles Instructions: 1. Cut steak into thin pieces. Note: if using tenderloin, you may need to flatten with a rolling pen/mallet and parchment paper first. 2. In a large hot skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil. Saute beef in 2-3 batches. Remove from the skillet and set aside. 3. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and butter, bring to heat and saute onions until translucent. 4. Add garlic and mushrooms and cook until soft, 2-3 minutes. 5. Set a pot of water to boil for egg noodles. 6. Return steak to the skillet. 7. Stir in cream, worcestershire sauce, and spices. Bring mixture to a low simmer, stirring occasionally. Make sure *not* to let the cream sauce come to a boil. 8. Add pepper and salt to taste. 9. Serve over egg noodles.

He also called his shirt a shoit. I didn't think anything of what he had done to the city's name. Later I heard men who could manage their r's give it the same pronunciation. I still didn't see anything in it but the meaningless sort of humor that used to make richardsnary the thieves' word for dictionary. A few years later I went to Personville and learned better.
