The checks and balances were all a lie. Our system is mostly based on the honor system with the idea that no one person would act so horribly. We need a complete overhaul to make sure this can never happen again if we are to regain any trust in the world.

The world knows the US is being run by a madman.An immature, hateful, greedy, racist, in fact. The saddest part is we do not have a single branch of government functioning in the people's interest. The world's once great democracy is no more. It is our struggle to get control and rebuild.
