Blocking state access only deepens public distrust and undermines this investigation. Minnesota deserves transparency. Renee deserves justice.

Today at the vigil for Renee Good, neighbors and strangers alike stood together in peace and love, grieving a life lost far too soon.

We honor Renee by caring for one another and by continuing the work to ensure accountability and justice.

Renee Good deserves justice, and my office will not look away.

As Attorney General, I will do everything in my power to pursue the truth and ensure accountability and transparency.

Trump and his allies tried to take from Minnesota, break the rules, and put themselves above the law. We fought back because Minnesotans deserve fairness.

I’ll keep showing up, case after case, and fight for this state in 2026. The People’s Lawyer isn’t stepping out of the ring anytime soon. 🥊

As we head into the new year, I’m more determined than ever to help Minnesotans afford their life. We’re ready to organize, fight for our neighbors, and make sure every Minnesotan can live with dignity, respect, and respect.

Here’s to a new year of action, hope, and progress together.

This year, we’ve seen what happens when powerful interests put profits over people. I’m standing up for Minnesotans — for fairness, for affordability, and for the dignity every family deserves.

No matter who tries to take advantage, I’ll keep showing up and fighting for our communities.

In Northfield, I heard from a local business owner struggling just as much as they did during COVID. Small businesses like theirs are the heart of our towns, but these massive tariffs are making it impossible to survive.
December 24, 2025 at 3:39 PM
This year, I stepped into the ring against Big Pharma because Minnesotans shouldn’t have to choose between affording their medicine and putting food on the table.

I’m fighting just as hard for our kids, including our trans youth, who deserve to grow up safe, supported, and free from harm.

Scammers thought Minnesotans were easy targets.
They were wrong.

From student loan scams to fake utility callers, we shut them down this year — fast.

A strong leader brings people together. A weak one scapegoats communities.

Minnesotans won’t let Donald Trump turn us against our neighbors. We believe we all do better when we ALL do better, and that's something Trump will never understand.

We hold people accountable when they steal cars, and we should, but we also hold accountable the corporations that made those cars dangerously easy to steal.

Kia and Hyundai cut corners. Minnesotans paid the price. We took them to court, and we won.

On Friday, I visited a mosque in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood to stand with our Somali and Muslim neighbors. When our communities are facing fear and uncertainty, we come together, we look out for one another, and we make sure people know their rights.

Great to see all of our Dems today. Next year’s election is a big one, but it's only one piece of the bigger picture. We need to organize, listen, and work together to ensure people can afford their lives and live with the dignity every Minnesotan deserves.
December 13, 2025 at 8:49 PM
At Friday prayers I joined Rep. Mohamud Noor to talk about what families can do to stay safe while ICE is active in our neighborhoods.

We broke down the basics: know your rights, stay connected, and reach out for help if you need it.

Corporate greed climbed into the ring.
We showed them the People’s Lawyer doesn’t tap out. 🥊

Trump’s comments about Somali immigrants, calling people “human garbage”, echo some of the darkest rhetoric in history.

To our Somali friends and neighbors: Minnesota stands with you and we will not allow hate to take root here.
December 8, 2025 at 6:20 PM
Trump’s rhetoric toward our Somali neighbors is unacceptable. My job as your Attorney General is to protect your rights and freedoms—that means no Minnesotan gets singled out or targeted for who they are.
December 5, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Donald Trump’s vile language about Minnesota’s Somali community greenlights harassment and abuse.

We Minnesotans are having none of it: we know our Somali neighbors are part and parcel of the fabric of our communities and we stand with them against Trump’s racist threats.

From small-town main streets to family farms, rural Minnesota keeps our state strong. When we uplift local businesses and protect them from predatory practices, we’re helping Minnesotans afford their life.
December 1, 2025 at 9:38 PM
As Attorneys General, our job is clear: protect the people and protect our democracy. And with the 2026 elections on the line, we can’t afford to look away or pretend this doesn’t happen in America. We’ve seen exactly how far bad actors will go to undermine our freedoms and we need to be ready.

@analilia-mejia.bsky.social is running for Congress. She will be amazing. A progressive grassroots leader goes to Congress. Exactly what we need now. I endorse Analilia and you should too. Also, donate. I already have.

With the holidays coming up, visiting Keepsake Cidery was a great reminder that small, locally owned producers are at the heart of our rural economy. They create good jobs, support local businesses, and keep our communities strong. When rural Minnesota thrives, all of Minnesota thrives.

Tariffs are hurting Minnesotans' wallets with higher costs. When Washington politicians play games, working families, farmers, and small businesses pay the price.

As AG, I’ve pushed back against unlawful tariffs before, and I’ll keep fighting any policy that drives up costs for Minnesotans.
