If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

I’m still in the process of moving but I’ve been making time to play Silent Hill f in the evenings and omg what a fascinating game! I’m still on my second play-through, and right out the gate so much was different. I’m really excited to get at least 2 more endings and then deep dive into the lore

I’ve been hard at work editing A Matter of Time. I’m so glad I’m doing this, because I’m finally excited to start sharing it, when for months I couldn’t really say that. I definitely published before it was done cooking—but it was my first book and I was anxious to get it out there!

You ever not read your book for 9 months, write a whole other book, then return to the first book and become filled with The Horror at the state you published in? Yeah.
Fortunately I’ve learned enough to fix it (I hope), even though it means rewriting several more chapters than I’d anticipated. 🫠

I definitely can’t pretend like I knew what I was doing with A Matter of Time. A lot of my storytelling was from instinct, gut feelings, w/e you wanna call it. I feel now like I know how to hone those instincts into something sharper. Still don’t know everything but I’m definitely better than I was!

I’ve been taking a nice break to be depressed af and also play Borderlands 4 lol. I think by tomorrow I’ll be ready to dive back into A Matter of Time. I know every author struggles with self doubt and I know mine won this battle but I also feel like the extra attention will be worth it in the end~

Last night I finished the first draft of Severance :) We’re sitting at 197,637 words, which is more than I’d like, but that’s what editing is for!

Last night I finished the first draft of Severance :) We’re sitting at 197,637 words, which is more than I’d like, but that’s what editing is for!
Time to put this book in a box and pull out my A Matter of Time manuscript to make some long awaited changes!
