That is a good point. I am very pro diverters AND I just thought about my kid’s bus driver and the route he would need to take. Diverters would also make it considerably safer for my child to walk home from the bus stop.

My hope is that this months long closure may incentivize some people to try transit or biking.

Look, every person needs to decide if striking is right for them and worth the risk. There are many people (me included) who are horrified about what is happening and want to make a point beyond boycotting/ current protests.
