Mouthy, nasty woman. This is where I go to let off steam.
Trump is a fucking hypocrite. He says he’s tough on crime, yet he pardoned a Baltimore cocaine trafficker (Smith), someone who ran an online drug market (Ulbricht), a gang leader tied to narcotics (Hoover), and a figure in a major cocaine import scheme (Hernández). Hard to call that law and order.

The posts on X about SNAP have been disgusting. People blaming hunger on the poor instead of the billionaires setting prices. SNAP doesn’t cause inflation or greed, it just keeps families from starving. The cruelty people post so casually is the real sickness.

hegseth at quantico today (a thread): “every service member in combat roles … is required … to meet this highest male standard only.”

translation: women proved they could do the job, so now he’s moving the goalposts to shove them out. pure regression.

99 years later and the dream’s still rotten. the rich torch everything, smile for the cameras, and vanish into their gated entropy. no reckoning, just repeat. always someone else's blood on the floor.

HHS just announced a $1.8B “efficiency” plan that’ll slash 10k jobs, gut public health infrastructure, and replace it w/ some Orwell-ass “Administration for a Healthy America.” This isn’t streamlining, it’s sabotage. DOGE strikes again. www.hhs.gov/about/news/h...

Zelensky walked into a setup designed to humiliate him, and Trump delivered exactly the kind of petty, Kremlin-approved tantrum everyone predicted.
The fiery altercation between #DonaldTrump and #VolodymyrZelensky at the White House on Friday was shocking but not entirely unexpected, analysts say, with the way forward for Kyiv looking increasingly uncertain.

OPINION: Gender diversity is not simply a late 20th- or early 21st-century phenomenon.
How Roman society integrated people who altered their bodies and defied gender norms
(The Conversation) — There may have been fear of gender-diverse people in the ancient world, but they played a crucial role. In Rome, they were viewed as vital to the city’s safety.

Firing an entire group of employees over a mass phone call, shutting down any pushback, and calling it an "opportunity" is corporate dystopia at its finest.
Breaking — All probationary employees at OPM were just fired in a mass phone call.

Acting Director Chuck Ezell told staffers, "I encourage you to use this as an opportunity for your next step forward," per recording I reviewed.

On site staffers were given less than an hour to leave.

Ah, the classic government efficiency plan: gut the workforce, overwork whoever’s left, and then act surprised when everything falls apart. Genius.
President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order that calls on federal agencies to work with the U.S. DOGE Service in a bid to cut their existing workforce and limit future hiring.

Russia keeps committing war crimes, and the world keeps acting like this is just another day. Civilians were sleeping in their homes, not on a battlefield. How many times does this have to happen before the response actually matches the outrage? #StandWithUkraine
Russia attacked Kyiv, Ukraine with ballistic missiles and drones, specifically targeting apartment buildings, office spaces, and civilian infrastructure while people slept at night.

Firefighters worked bravely throughout the night to rescue victims and put out the emerging fires. #StandWithUkraine

Trump slashing the federal workforce, gutting military academy boards, blocking Ukraine from NATO, and cozying up to Musk while JD Vance defends open racists. The authoritarian slide isn’t coming, it’s here.

This talking point is so tired and overused. Everyone who uses it must be a child or think on a really fundamental level. You can tell them the truth, but they'll never get it.

So now Trump wants a government-run slush fund to buy TikTok? This isn’t about national security; it’s about power and control. A sovereign wealth fund isn’t some petty cash drawer for Trump to snatch up whatever he wants. This is straight-up authoritarian nonsense.

Gutting the EPA isn’t about efficiency, it’s about letting corporations pollute without consequences. Firing over 1,100 people working on climate and clean air is a gift to big business at the expense of public health. This isn’t draining the swamp, it’s poisoning it.
