Since boycotting Amazon and big box retailers, I’ve enjoyed re-engaging with our local stores. Our pet food, wine club, lots of food and home supplies are now all from locally owned, independent businesses. #shoplocal

So much of who we are is just chance. People get so worked up about differences which are mostly just attributed to being born in one part of the world rather than another.

In our #boycott of major retailers over their reversal of diversity and equity programs, in one month we’ve redirected $1200 to our small and local stores, while cutting overall spending by two thirds. Turns out I didn’t need that influencer crap after all.
