It’s very ironic that for the last five or years people have been very vocal telling me over & over again that doing any research with the “founders” is useless & irrelevant, but now those same people are constantly quoting & referencing those men to criticize the current administration.

I’m more used to saying this to people on the Left than people on the Right, but, “hate speech” is not an exception to the First Amendment. “Hate speech” is protected by the First Amendment unless it falls into a traditional established exception.

I know I’m not on top of my game for teaching this semester because of stress with edits and other dissertation nonsense, but it’s still really cool when students talk to me after class asking if I’ve played Assassins’ Creed III and RDR2 when they learn that I play video games.
