I feel like I would have a much more peaceful life if hypocrisy didn't make my brain itch.

My entire adult life I've been hoarding sheets and pillowcases. Literally, I have a couple of pillowcases that I dyed in the backyard of the apartment where I broke my very first lease.

Time to let some go.

My phone has gotten boring. Doesn't decrease my addiction level, mind you, but now I'm addicted and bored.

I read five books this weekend. FIVE. It was glorious.

I hate rental inspections SO MUCH. They stress me out to an unreasonable degree.

It's not just fdr. One of the things the epa did not long after it was formed was document the nation's pollution via photography. That can seem frivolous, but generations of Americans have no idea why the EPA was necessary. This broke a million views when we published it in 2017
This is what America looked like before the EPA cleaned it up
A snapshot from America before the impact of the EPA and the effects of rules regulating clean water and air were felt.

Worth noting that McConnell refusing to whip votes to convict Trump at his impeachment trial (or vote himself to convict) is *why* we’re now in a position where Hegseth is the Defense Secretary. If McConnell is looking for the person at fault, he might want to consult a mirror.

I have a VERY specific reference in my head whenever someone says "movie western". Does anyone else have one, and only one, movie jump to mind when a genre comes up?

It's Two Mules For Sister Sara, by the way.

The last three days have been super foggy, especially over the river. There's something majestic about the Fremont Bridge slowly appearing as you cross it that just isn't as impressive when you can see the rest of the world.

I was informed that looking at my work desk was like looking at an I Spy book. Aesthetic goal I didn't even know I had: reached.

My child recently informed me that he's "always yelling about the patriarchy" at school.

This may be why he's not the most popular kid. I can't bring myself to be sorry.

I have faced fascism before, in this very country. I was one of 120,000 Japanese Americans summarily rounded up and expelled from our homes at gunpoint, all for the crime of looking like the people who bombed Pearl Harbor.

I spent my childhood behind barbed wire. My parents lost everything. 1/

I just sang along to There is a Light That Never Goes Out to Parker at naptime. Lullabies are supposed to be deeply dark, right?
