One might have thought that last November, when Missourians voted to enshrine “reproductive freedom" in the state constitution, that would have been the end of the conversation.

Alas, the Missouri Supreme Court doesn’t seem to be inclined to listen. This week, the court halted abortions.

Despite passage of a constitutional amendment last fall, the ping-pong battle over "reproductive freedom" continues.

But, let’s not mince words. The threat we face is vast, coordinated and dangerous.

Trump doesn’t run a normal administration — those follow the law. He runs a regime that’s wreaking havoc on our economy, democracy and national security and meant to enrich and protect himself and his friends.

It’s weird* that the president can just decide to put a huge tax on American businesses without congress even being a little bit involved.

Worst two-day stock market crashes in the U.S. by percentage loss:

1. 1929 (the Great Depression)

2. 1987 (Black Monday)

3. 2008 (the Great Recession)

4. YESTERDAY AND TODAY

And while this happened, the man responsible for it was golfing and dining with enemies of America.

Nearly 40% of the company is gone for a very simple reason: its CEO flat-out refused to stop lying to Americans.

The lesson here is by no means hard to detect.

When you daily exhibit vicious contempt for your entire potential customer base, you're going to lose your company and deserve to lose it.

“Are you worried?” That is always the first question.

“Of course I am worried,” I respond. “The president of the United States considers me an enemy and has promised retribution. I would be an idiot not to be worried. But I am not going to give in. I will continue to fight.”

I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment being expressed by citizens and governments around the world to the effect no one should be traveling to the United States at this time.

It is a sad day for the legal industry. Paul Weiss, didn't just bend a knee, it set a new standard for shameful capitulation. This is a stain on the firm, every one of its partners, and the entire legal profession.

This Paul Weiss capitulation is the most disgraceful action by a major law firm in my lifetime, so appalling that I couldn’t believe it at first.
