If you are in NYC, and you're interested in volunteer court accompaniment, the group I work with is The New Sanctuary Coalition (@newsanctuarynsc.bsky.social). I know DSA and Courtwatch also has people in the courts; I'm sure there are other groups across the country mobilizing.

I do not have the skill set to do this but one thing my parents did ingrain in me is that the purpose of these groups’ door knocking is not actually to convert- the leaders know that doesn’t work. It’s to teach members that they will be ridiculed, ostracised, despised outside the cult
