Switched watches from Garmin to Apple & it’s a steep learning curve. At least setup was a piece of cake. I’m reserving judgement on functionality & ease of use.

It's kind of amazing just how more affordable Melbourne now is, and also how expensive is Adelaide

Everyone under age 16 in Australia just got this notification from YouTube. Everyone under 16 will no longer be able to sign-in, block channels, disable ads, or browse anything other than the default algorithm moving forward. Brain dead decision-makers.

All sorted and my apps are loading super fast! 😍 It’s been so bad lately, I’ve been turning off wifi & running on phone data. 💩
I’ve been asking husband to upgrade our internet to FTTP for ages because of drop-outs & slow speeds on our FTTN service, but he’s refused. Youngest son starts temporarily working from home at our place 1 day a week, complains about the internet once & suddenly we have a tech here installing cable.🙄

Fuck it, I’ve turned the heating on. Snow on Mount Buller on the 1st of December, ridiculous.

Why yes, apparently it is necessary to have four different home brew beers on tap. 😂 I don’t drink the stuff, so luckily he’s dedicated to his craft.

New tree arrived & looks easy to assemble AND the box is quite small. 🙌 But it’s staying in the box till after my birthday next week. My rule: no trace of Christmas in the house until the birthday celebrations are done. Idk why, it’s just how my brain says it has to be. 🤷‍♀️
I haven’t dragged the Christmas tree out of the attic for about 5 years. Nobody helps with assembly & decorating & they definitely don’t help with packing it away. And the annual untangling of the lights, ugh. Anyway, I just ordered a new one that comes in 3 pieces, not 53, & is pre-lit. 😊

DIL & the toddler (henceforth referred to as Patient Zero) are testing negative. Baby is improving, son is still quite sick & they’re both testing positive. Fuck this virus. Maybe I can go over there by Thursday?
Ugh, the COVID saga continues. Son now has it. No functional adults in the house with a sick 3yo & 5mo. And nobody can go over to help out. 💩
