Yes it is. Try any AI with any on device model trained on less than billions of pages with thousands of cpu/gpu and you get very stilted output that is not very good and doesn’t sound natural.

That is too small a dataset to produce intelligible output. The reason LLMs need a humongous dataset, so much the AI companies stole everything they could, and six months processing, isn’t for the knowledge, it’s so it can sound realistic.

I have ad personalization turned off and get a crazy set of ads. Some think I’m a doctor and advertise drugs for me to push on patients, some think I’m a farmer in need of a tractor, etc…
