this.
Quick reminder that if you see a headline from a source you’ve never heard of that isn’t being reported by anyone else, you really should do some due diligence before spreading it around as fact. There’s enough misinformation floating around already; no need to add more.

In 2020, only 3.6% of the world’s population lived outside their country of birth. People only leave their homes when they're desperate.

If conservatives really care about immigration, they would focus on stopping climate change. Because that's going to cause refugee numbers to skyrocket.

Why city planning needs diverse perspectives.

Touring possible commuter cycling routes.

What I saw - Smooth pavement. Separate from traffic. Shade. Not too busy. Perfect.

What my female partner saw - Blind corners. No lighting. No escape routes. Too few users. Wouldn’t use this route.

so, possibly a silly question that I could just google myself, but I like asking real humans... what are we calling posts on this platform? "Bluesky post" just doesn't have the same nifty sound as "tweet".

Newsky Bluesky tips by me, figmentpudding;

1. Use alt text, it can take a little time but just imagine your bestie is sitting with their eyes closed and you're explaining a picture to them like a little ASMR meditation, because you care about them and want them to thrive <3
