This isn’t surprising to me. Just more evidence that social media has been weaponized against people.

The question I continue to have… What is ACTUALLY being done to regulate these platforms and protect people so that social media can’t be used in psychological/information warfare.

When deception’s more profitable than honesty, users lose.

Internal documents suggest that Meta earns $3.5B(!) every 6 mo. from scam ads, revealing a deeper systemic problem: the economic incentive to tolerate “higher legal risk” content still outweighs any penalty. www.reuters.com/investigatio...

My takeaway from yesterday’s election is that the current leaders of the Democratic Party need to get a lot more aggressive in the fight against fascism, and if they aren’t able to step up to the moment than they need step aside for new party leadership who will step up.

⬇️This is an example of why local elections matter. This is why it is important to vote in every election.

It didn't matter.

Let his victory in the face of Big Money serve as a reminder that people have the power.

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.
