Important report
Of Australia’s 37 public universities, 26 take money from fossil fuel companies, according to new Australia Institute research.

Coal and gas companies should not be funding science in the 2020s.

The science of climate change is clear. Universities teach it.

Yet another example of a change to the tax system that is sensible, fair, efficient and has broader benefits.

But for that we would need a government with a spine, who is prepared to use their huge political capital for the greater good.

Rather than being shit-scared of vested interests. #auspol
Tax breaks for huge, American-style utes cost the Australian government $250 million in 2023.

But it gets worse.

Emissions from passenger cars have fallen since 2005, but that drop was wiped out by the increased use of big utes. #auspol

Why are we being told Australia could run out of gas, when we have more than almost any other country?

And we export 80% of it?
