Das gilt nicht nur für die Presse, es galt (und gilt) auch für Unis und Großkanzleien und TV-Sender: Trump hat leichtes Spiel, weil sie nicht zusammenstehen.

Würde das bei uns anders laufen? Nicht ohne viel Vorbereitung, zB durch branchenbezogene Beistandspakte und mitgliederstarke Gewerkschaften.

Überall das gleiche rechtsextreme Playbook. Nur Faschisten müssen Angst vor dem Antifaschismus haben und versuchen ihn zu verbieten. Ich hoffe, dass zunehmend mehr Menschen bewusst wird, dass auch in Europa Autoritäre die Macht ergreifen, um Demokratien abzuschaffen.
