I want to say 4 out of every 5 of my friends/contacts who have been laid off in the last year or two have had to become freelancers, not by choice but because they have no other options. It’s horrific out there.

Democratic party leadership has been on autopilot for ten years, they weren't losing to fascism, fascism isn't popular enough for them to lose to fascism, they were allowing it to fill the void where their leadership should have been.
