The latest Cloudflare and Amazon outages have got me thinking about utilities. We can't build modern software without dependencies. The days of running entirely on the client are over, which I see as a good thing. The cost is that we rely on infrastructure.

I did a video the other day about how the actions of your characters need to he internally consistent but all their motives don’t need to be explicit, and this is part of why. People want to speculate and form their own opinions on why things happen the way they do. Defensive writing kills that.
