I know Cuomo doesn't understand consent, but like--anyone making an AI video of another person does not understand consent.

And given how many people are doing this, that's grim.

Agreed. But it’s his choice to believe it. As long as he’s not forcing others to do what he does, then you respect it. If someone grabbed his hand and made him shake hers, wouldn’t that be disrespectful? It goes both ways, whether you agree with his beliefs or not.

I think you have to respect people’s beliefs if it’s not hurting anyone. He was polite and acknowledged her. The people at fault are her team for not briefing her that he doesn’t shake hands with women who aren’t his wife. If she knew that and didn’t extend her hand, we prob wouldn’t have noticed.
