As we prep for the "No Kings" protest this Saturday, Andrew Young's work with Dr. King on nonviolent protests inspires us. Young received our Democracy Award for decades of protecting voter rights in Georgia.

Debbi and I are fired up for an unforgettable night — connecting with changemakers and fueling the momentum behind the Gwinnett County Democratic Party’s mission of unity, purpose, and grassroots power. My campaign has already felt the impact — and we’re just getting started!

DON’T MEMORY HOLE ELON MUSK’S NAZI SALUTE

It’s been 4 weeks and 1 day since Elon Musk loudly vocalized his support for Nazi ideology

Everything that has happened since has happened with the guidance of an open Nazi

This should be repeated in articles, regularly

I'm a little late to the game, but I loved Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl performance. As I study it, I love the layers and complexity of the show. Ms. Tiana Clark wrote an excellent opinion to the NYT that is helping me understand the significance.

So all NTSB information for the plane / Blackhawk crash is being funneled through X only. And it’s buried deep in the news as Musk starts moving towards X being a formal means of communication that he unilaterally controls.

The NTSB says it will only notify the media about press conferences and investigative updates on two recent plane crashes via the social media platform X.

Ken Martin gave a hell of a good speech here: “Are we on the side of the robber baron, the ultra-wealthy billionaire, the oil and gas polluter, the union buster. Or are we on the side of the American working family, the small business owner, the farmer, the immigrant, and the students?"

Yesterday, a friend shared a wonderful phrase with me: 'DIY DEI.' The idea is to consciously choose women, people of color, and other underrepresented groups when buying goods and services. For me, the principle is simple: If all things are relatively equal, I choose DEI opportunities.

My county has a low population but quite a few dealers. @davidblakejohnson.bsky.social, it would be great to a % of the county population to better compare. Thanks for doing this!
🧵 This is a professional and personal story. I recently met economist @davidblakejohnson.bsky.social here on Bluesky, and we’ve brought his gun-related data to life in a dashboard. Short story: you can now look up how many firearms dealers are in your county. Link: chadtopaz.shinyapps.io/gunDash/

I don’t know if I can ever understand or empathize with people who can only define their worth at the expense of others. All that energy expended to talk about why they are better than those they perceive as being below themselves seems like such a waste. #bebetter
