I personally believe Lark and Sparrow are equally oblivious to social cues except Sparrow has a bunch of unearned optimism and Larks dour pessimism is usually right when you match it to his attitude and tone to pretty much everyone around him

The uncut only makes it even more obvious that the death sentence makes way more sense than the prison sentence. You can tell Freddie chooses purely based on what would make the better story/character arc because Anthony really hammers home that death is reversible but losing Nick isnt

Nick being the only kid to be left behind on his dad's journey to find his anchor is so upsettingly fitting for his character. Its not Glenn's fault, but theres something to say about Nick not being there for the first 90% of the trial and only coming in at the end as a witness, too little too late

Another small Nick moment cut out of the episode in uncut s1 ep 33... it didnt really build his character any further but it would have been nice to see more of him. it always felt like Nick had the least airtime in s1 (to me at least)
