Hopefully you have the word "housing" muted if housing policy gives you hives. Getting into the weeds of policy tickles my erogenous zones, and reading the detailed letter at the end of this thread was very informative.
@sfgov.sf.gov's housing plan made big promises to add capacity for new homes by upzoning large parts of the City previously closed off to new development. The Family Zoning Plan fails to fulfill these promises. CalHDF is ready to litigate (a thread): 1/6

This made my day.
For the past six weeks, an AI Facebook account has been pulling my history posts on Instagram and slopping out new captions, so I’ve been feeding it poison pills and its followers are having meltdowns in the comments. It’s been pretty spectacular.

I absolutely abhor asceticism, particularly the belief that a meal of delicious food is unhealthy.

You almost hear a whisper at the edge of the November evening breeze. Is that the rain, or is it a voice that sounds like it's saying: "It's always the same maaaaaaap..."
Per-precinct final data are now available for King County, Washington's general election. In the race for Seattle mayor, Katie Wilson defeated incumbent Bruce Harrell by just under 2,000 votes.

This didn't get enough attention for it to cross my feed on Monday, but it appears Lurie promised Trump a crackdown in order to head off a federal crackdown.

BART is pretty amazing at getting things running again when there's an incident.
Update: Normal five line train service has been restored and trains are using both tracks at Civic Center Station.
