Just thinking... we give so much attention (as we should!) to the victims of state violence, ie, people sent to CECOT.
But, we give little consideration to the psychic violence suffered by those tasked with carrying out the physical violence.

I see Christmas movies for the trad wife propaganda they are (it's always the women giving up their careers to move to a backwater village somewhere and finding that raising children is the sole purpose of their lives) but imma watch them and 'aww' anyway 🧑🏾🎄

The GMC is right to raise concerns over the increasing number of #IMGs leaving the UK, this is a worrying development. All #doctors, regardless of where they qualified, make a significant contribution to the #NHS and should feel valued.

I quit the former Twitter two years ago this week, and I am here to tell you that my online life got a lot better for having left it. In two years I've not been tempted to go back, and I haven't felt any penalty in either career or community for not being there. It's nice to be here and not there.
