Are there relevant legal or factual differences between the redistricting in Texas and the redistricting in California?

Just got my first filing (a notice from an Admin Judge) with the DOD officially designated the Department of War. I guess it will be DOW now too.

I am always humble because I trash talk myself constantly.

I have Facebook “friends” who do not comment or react to any of my posts, unless the post might cast Trump or MAGA in a bad light. Then they stumble on themselves to “nuh-uh” me

Just a point of clarification, in NC your employer can terminate you based on what customers or coworkers say about you.

No, it definitely isn't heresy. Also, there is not an evidence rule against that.

Nothing hits like 2 street tacos, chips and salsa and a 24oz Dos Equis draft after a two day hearing. Very soothing for the soul.

This morning I first learned about the Hide the Pride campaign at public libraries across the US. I actually thought WTF these haters got a lot of time on their hands.

Got a new pair of boxers with coconuts on them. I yelled at my wife: oh my god, look at these!

She loudly replied: WHAT!?

Me: they're nuts!

She is sick of my shit.

You know the rule.
It's been 8 years since the iconic moment Tom Holland lip-synced "Umbrella" by Rihanna for Zendaya. 🎥

**not a thing that happened**

I understand that perhaps Dorian's school or classroom did not show the Challenger launch. However, google is free and Dorian could have used it instead of perpetrating a lie.
We're not faking anything you absolute imbecile @dorianwright.bsky.social do you understand how many of us witnessed this live during class? This was *heavily*promoted because there was a teacher on board. I was a freshman in high school & the teacher wheeled in a saint TV on a cart.

I'd love to hear from solo/small firm attorneys who've integrated AI into their firms.

How are you using AI?

Marketers keep telling me I'm behind because 200% of small firms have adopted AI and the attorneys in those firms are making double and only working 5 hours a week now.

Last Sat. I went to my son's flag football games, then to Lowe's to get slow close toilet seats and 17 bales of pine needles. I laid out the bales around the yard and my wife spread the needles as I replaced the toilet seats.

Damn sure hope I'm not that productive tomorrow! Ha!

If they are fired, they will be replaced with someone equally bad or worse.

This is exactly how I look on Friday evening after a week long federal jury trial.

Or a Monday morning after Friday to Sunday bender.

I am not a fan of babysitting adults. I have to just keep reminding myself that I get paid by the hour to do it.

That does make me feel better.

Thank god we finally know. I couldn't figure out how the dog died when he was in the crate for (at least) over a week. So who would have thought the dog died from lack of food/water?

Hi All, I am looking for a law student (US law school) to do research and some writing for me on an as needed basis. Mostly employment law. Paid of course. Remote of course. Most projects will have a deadline, but no schedule so work when convenient w/in deadline.

Anecdotal evidence is not real evidence and your beliefs do not create facts. What a bullshit article. #remotework #telework

Bosses are fed up with remote work for 4 main reasons. Some of them are undeniable
The data showing that remote workers spend fewer hours working, less productively, is really starting to add up.

I know not one single person cares, but the return to in-person work was issued as a Presidential Memorandum (PM) and not an Executive Order (EO).

That is why OPM guidance references the PM and not an EO.
The offer is, you agree to resign by 9/30/25 (the end of the fiscal year) and in exchange, you are exempt from the “return to work” EO. 2/

I’m a nerd. I get kind of disappointed when I am doing a Zoom/Teams meeting from my home office and no one asks me about the diagram of the Milky Way behind me.

I want to be able to say:

“YES, that is the Milky Way. Here is Earth and here is Sagittarius A*!”
