In 2023 I became obsessed with videos of dads in cargo shortswaiting in parking lots during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. So when she came to town, I grabbed a camera and headed down to talk to them. I thought it'd be funny. It turned out to be something else entirely.

This frog looks how I feel
I haven’t stopped thinking about this frog since learning about it a few days ago, so now this knowledge is your problem too.

Meet the turtle frog (Myobatrachus gouldii) – a round burrow gremlin from Australia. It gets its name from looking like a turtle that lost its shell.

It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

The actor Michael Sheen used all his money to start a fake debt collecting business, buy 900 people in Wales's debt, and excused it. If Musk bought ALL $194 billion in medical debt in the U.S. and excused it in the same way, he'd still be the world's riches man by hundreds of billions of dollars.

RFK Jr. is going to end CDC recommendations for most childhood vaccines.

It will take a few years before the deaths and disabilities ramp up to a level that even the most vile Republican cannot tolerate.

RFK Jr. will be long gone and unaccountable, as our babies die from preventable illness.

Today, French lawmakers unanimously approved a bill exonerating women punished for abortion before it was legalized in 1975.
This "is an act of justice toward those thousands of lives shattered by unjust laws," said Aurore Bergé, minister-delegate for gender equality.

Nazis are pathetic losers. They always have been. They were pathetic losers in the 1930’s, too, but they had impressive aesthetics.

Vanity Fair refused to give the Nazis an impressive aesthetic to hide behind, and that is so fucking important.

Art matters. Artists do vital work.
