Economics isn't just about outcomes, it's about stories. If the president doesn't win the battle of ideas or honestly explain trade-offs, people assume they're being gamed. Even decent numbers won't feel good without straight talk about who pays for what.

Trump is just the worst! The National Park Service is reshuffling its free-admission schedule so that visitors get in free on Donald Trump’s birthday next year, while Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth (previously free days) will now require regular entrance fees.
National Parks are now free on Trump's birthday, but not on MLK Jr. Day or Juneteenth
The Trump administration overhauled the list of free National Park days for 2026.
